Ilha de Cajaíba is located in the state of Bahia, 'land of happiness' - one of Brazil's largest states situated in the north east of the country on the Atlantic coast.
Providing an idyllic setting within All Saints Bay (Baía de Todos os Santos), the island enjoys close proximity to some of the most important tourist, cultural and historic sites in Bahia.
The significance of All Saints Bay dates from Brazil's foundation - Salvador was the first capital of the country - with some areas declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The region is also known for its traditional popular feasts.
Ilha de Cajaíba
At the mouth of River Seriji lies the beautiful island of Cajaíba to one side whilst the ancient village of São Francisco do Conde lies to the other. The island preserves its cultural heritage with a magnificent mansion dating from 1785 and imperial palms over 60 years old.
The island will be one of the most exclusive world class resorts surrounded by immense natural beauty. Palm trees, mangroves and idyllic beaches provide the ultimate paradise.
Climate
Bathed by the warm, clear waters of the South Atlantic, All Saints Bay enjoys a warm year-round climate and basks in the breeze of steady trade winds. Average temperatures range from 23°C to 33°C.
How to get there
Air:
The Baía de Todos os Santos region is served by Salvador International Airport, a 50 minute drive to São Francisco do Conde. Ilha de Cajaíba is a 5 minute boat ride from São Francisco do Conde .
Sea:
Once completed, the resort will also be accessible by a ferry service between Salvador to Cajaíba.
